The writing of Zachary T. Bucholtz

Writing 200

Writing 200 is the introductory course for the Sweetland Minor in Writing at the University of Michigan. The course is a portfolio-based study of the art and practice of writing. We learned to write for different audiences and venues and studied and discussed different approaches to writing.

The course also featured a class blog, part of the overall Minor in Writing blog, of which I am a contributor and member of the “blog committee.” It can be found by visiting: http://writingminor.sweetland.lsa.umich.edu/

The course was built around four main assignments.  I’ve included them here, with details about each of them:
